I’m an undergraduate in English Pedagogy that doesn’t really care for the Education area. Actually…I just stumbled into this after , what I call the forces of evil, cropped my wings when I had, almost fisnished, my Journalism career majoring in Religious Sciences.
Anyway…that helped me find out what I really wanted wasn’t to be a journalist at all! But an Anthropologist, Ethnographer, Photographer and Visual Science and Arts kind of Communicator.
Today I’m putting all my efforts in pursuing graduate studies in Anthropology in the USA. Why the States? Well, when you have planned a lot in life, dear Mr.Murphy likes to enter. In my case, he messed things up a bit, particullary for the better ( I fell in love with a musician, and suddenly life is pretty in pink!). Nevertheless, I was pretty shaken up by Mr.Murphy’s appearance and the paramount consecuences of it.
Well then, why the States? As I said, I fell in love with a musician, and since we are both such goal oriented geeks, we found out that both our dream studies (and professors) are to be found “over there”. Now, of course, there is all this TOEFL and GRE preparation to be done and sure, why not mention it…the VISA procedure.
While we are trying to make things fit, for both of us, others go; Utopia? I say; Whatever!
